Calendar, club report and sharing

Beginner 6 min

Build a weekly training schedule, export everything to your calendar with reminders, print a club report, share a project by link or send tables to other apps.

1. Training slots

Open Calendar. Add training adds a single session with Title, Date, Start, Minutes, Location, Group and Notes. Repeat weekly… opens Repeat a training slot weekly: pick the Weekdays, the First week starts date and the Number of weeks, then Add sessions.

The Agenda below merges trainings, mixer nights, tournaments, league fixtures and trip games by month. Tick Show past events to see what already happened.

2. Calendar file with reminders

Export calendar… (or Export → Calendar (.ics)…) lets you choose what to Include, whether to export Only events from today on, and a Reminder before each event. Times are written in UTC from the club time zone in File → Project settings…, so they stay correct for members in other zones and across daylight-saving changes. Import the file into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook.

3. Club report

Export → Club report (print or PDF)… (Ctrl+P) opens a printable report: key numbers, findings, standings, brackets, league odds, ratings, trips and training. Choose Save as PDF in the print dialog for a file.

Sections whose inputs changed since the last run are marked as out of date in the report, so you never print stale numbers by accident. Run → Run every section (Ctrl+Shift+Enter) refreshes them all; Fieldday waits politely when the tool API asks it to slow down.

4. Share and keep

  • File → Copy share link… — the whole project in the link (#project=…). The receiver gets a copy; tool results are left out and are recalculated with one click.
  • File → Save project file (Ctrl+S) and Open file… (Ctrl+O) — .fieldday.json files that follow the published JSON schema.
  • File → Recent projects… — the last 12 projects on this device.
  • Signed in with Google Drive connected, the top bar adds Save to Drive, Open from Drive and an Auto-save to Drive switch.

5. Send to other apps

The Export menu has Send … to another app… entries for the roster, standings, schedules, fixtures and brackets. Choose a target such as Chartroom or Twinworks and the data opens there. In the other direction, a table sent to Fieldday opens Import players with a preview, so you can add a squad list from another app in two clicks.
